The 2017 Man O' War Dreadnought Syrah from Waiheke Island is one of our favourites for cooler weather. Named after the first in a line of early battleships bestowed with the motto "fear god and dread nought", it is classical in style with lifted red fruits and a dark edge of graphite and pepper. This syrah has a vibrant palate with a fresh and lithe finish. Match it with the cured venison rack from our main menu if you're in for dinner, or with a cheese platter for a lazy weekend afternoon.
